Dear colleagues, Members of the Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (CIT) – We are pleased to announce the launch of CIT Annual Conference & Exhibition “Digital Nation وطن رقمي” in its 8th Round, which will be held concurrently with The Annual International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE) – Third edition – organized by the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI).


DN8 will be held under the slogan “Towards a Digital Industrial Renaissance” under the gracious patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, from November 25th to 27th at the Al-Manara International Conference Center in New Cairo.

“Digital Nation وطن رقمي” presents a crucial opportunity for the members of the Chamber to highlight awareness of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, “Industry 4.0,” and its practical applications in smart factories, the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, as well as training in automation and digitalization technologies. It also provides support in areas of stimulating industrial innovation, designing smart factories, contributing to knowledge transfer, and developing the industrial sector.
In this regard, CIT IS pleased to announce a series of events that the Chamber will launch on the sidelines of CIT Annual Conference & Exhibition “Digital Nation وطن رقمي”.

  •  The first of these initiatives is CIT Initiative “Digital transformation for 1,000 Factories”, in partnership with the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), which aims to encourage the adoption of “smart manufacturing” technologies to achieve digital transformation across all industrial sectors, thus increasing competitiveness to make Egypt a key player in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It will also contribute to accelerating efforts to position Egypt as a regional hub for establishing smart factories.
  • CIT will also launch the “CIT Talent Connect” Job Fair for technology professionals, in partnership with the Basharsoft powered by “Wazef – Forasna. This initiative will feature a range of activities and events specifically designed to support Tech-Companies in identifying and hiring qualified professionals across diverse fields, and it will give access to a wide pool of qualified talents in various technology sectors, including programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and much more.
  • It is worth mentioning that CIT will launch also the initiative “Training for Employment” at Digital Nation 8 in collaboration with The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). This initiative aims to equip ICT professionals with advanced skills tailored to the evolving demands of the job market and to strengthen local expertise within the industry. With the growing demand for technical skills in today’s workforce, this program offers specialized training on the latest technologies, empowering both company employees and individual participants to keep pace with rapid industry changes and expand their professional capabilities.
